Mrs. Sheila Maebell Watson, age 59 of McDonough, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020, devoted wife of 41 years to the late John Curtis Watson. She was born in Rome, GA to George A. Cromer and the late Lucille Linda Faye Garrett Cromer. Sheila enjoyed listening to gospel and country music, playing the piano, and watching hummingbirds. She loved spending time with her many grandchildren an riding Go Karts with them. Sheila is survived by her children: Shelly Watson of McDonough, Kimmy Watson of Locust Grove, Joey Watson of McDonough, Chris Watson of Locust Grove, and Chad Watson of Locust Grove; many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings: Robert (Cathy) Cromer, Cynthia (Joey) Lynam, Derron (Jenny) Cromer, and Matthew Cromer. She is predeceased by her son: John Howard Watson. A funeral service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in McDonough, GA on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 1:00PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stockbridge City Cemetery.
