Sara Louise Knight

Mrs. Louise Crumbley Knight, age 90 of McDonough, Georgia passed away September 13, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Raleigh and Matilda Stansil Crumbley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Blanton Hampton Knight, by a daughter Linda Waguespack and by siblings, Carolyn Chastine, Richard Crumbley, Murray Crumbley, LaVerne Crumbley and Carlton Crumbley. In earlier years, Louise was an accomplished bowler and square dancer. She enjoyed baking cakes, playing Bingo and working word searches. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and worked as a Dental Hygienist at Dr. R.A. Rainer’s office for 36 years. Survivors include her children, Pam (Charles B.) Reagan of Molena, Bill (Vickie) Knight of Vandalia, Ohio, Bob (Christy) Knight of McDonough, Ken (Paige) Knight of McDonough; son in law, Fred (Pat) Waguespack of McDonough; grandchildren, Steven Mathias, Bradley Mathias, Jeffrey Mathias, Jackie Moye, Christie Samojedny, Barron Reagan, Gabe Knight, Greg Knight, Kyle Knight, Kelli Sullivan, Randee Knight Todd and Abigail Casey; great grandchildren, Chelsea Mathias, Morgan Mathias, Brandi Mathias, Matthew Moye, Olivia Moye, Willow Knight, Sage knight, Eddie Knight, Hannah Knight, Nolan Sullivan, Graham Sullivan, Addie Todd and Layla Knight; brother, Dr. Gene Crumbley of McDonough; sisters in law, Sylvia Crumbley of McDonough, Betty Sue Stoltz of Byron and Jeanelle Knight of Birmingham, Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 15, 2014 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Dan McKay will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Salem Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Knight.
