Sandra Balch Ward

Mrs. Sandra Balch Ward, age 71, of Flovilla, GA passed away September 23, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late Hazel Estelle Sutton Balch and Woodrow Walton Balch. She retired from Bell South with 30 years of service and was an Avon representative for 40 years. Sandra was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Hampton for 47 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, fishing and going to all family gatherings. Survivors are her husband of 52 years, Jim Ward of Flovilla, GA; sons, Timmy Ward (Debbie) of Flovilla, Stephen Ward of Jackson and Matthew Ward of Jackson; grandchildren, Adriane Hart of Jackson, Chase Ward of Flovilla, Cruz Ward of Flovilla, Justin Farquhar of Savannah, Emily Farquhar of Macon and Hannah Ward of McDonough; brothers, Jimmy Balch (Ann) of Jackson and David Balch of Stockbridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Funeral service will be on Monday, September 26, 2016 beginning 11:00 AM at Bible Baptist Church, 2780 Mt. Carmel Road, Hampton, GA 30228 with Pastor Loren Regier officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
