Roy Lee Turpin Sr.

Roy Lee Turpin Sr., age 85, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. He was born in Madisonville, Tennessee to the late Robert Turpin and Iva Jean Keller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepson Ronny Brown.

Mr. Turpin is survived by his wife Betty Turpin; son Lee Turpin (Rhonda) and daughter Teresa Barnes; grandchildren Reagan Turpin, Matthew Harris, Tiffany and Brittany Barnes; as well as daughter in-law Felicia Brown and several other beloved family members.

Roy was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was very proud of his family. Through the years, if he wasn't with his loved ones, he could be found watching westerns or at the Ford Motor Company before retiring after 36 years. Roy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A graveside service will be on October 30th, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Sherwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Jonesboro, GA.
