Mr. Roy Ehuwanupa Kauhaahaa, age 68, of Stockbridge, GA passed away June 10, 2015. Roy was born in Maui, Hawaii the son of the late Nancy Parks Kauhaahaa and David E. Kauhaahaa. He was also preceded in death by several siblings. Roy served his country in the US Army retiring in 1985 after 20 plus years of service and receiving during his career 11 commendations to include overseas service bars, Vietnam SVC Medal, w/9 Svc. Star, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his dogs, traveling, gardening, fishing, sports, and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife of 30 plus years, Peggy Kauhaahaa of Stockbridge; children, Eddy Ballew (Tyler) of Elizabethtown, KY, Jeannie Hannah (Steve) of Odenville, AL; grandchildren, Malia Leiter of Odenville, AL and Justin Ballew of Elizabethtown, KY; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015, 3:00 – 5:00 PM with Military Honors at 4:00 PM.
