Mr. Robert Joseph Sousa, Jr., age 71 of Atlanta, Georgia passed away December 27, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Robert Joseph Sousa, Sr. and Sara Ellen Gordon Sousa. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Gordon. Bob faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a correctional officer for the State of Georgia for 20 years. He attended Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church and The Vespers at Wesley Woods Towers. He was very active in the Wesley Woods community where he lived. Bob was a Night Owl, an avid reader, and was a movie buff. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Survivors include his sister, JoEllen Mitchell of Locust Grove, GA; brother, Mark (Catherine) Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO; sister in law, Judy Sousa of Douglasville; nieces and nephews, Matthew Roberts, Josef Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Heather Sousa, Travis Sousa, Jessica Sousa Stieber and Mark Todd Sousa.
