Rickey Lawrence Martin

Rickey Lawrence Martin, age 66, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Billy and Mazell Martin. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 15 years Catherine Martin; daughters Misty Maloch, Tiffanie (Ron) Pittington, and Dawn (Mike) O’Hara; grandchildren Anastasia (Travis) McGill, Victoria Pittington, Christian (Taylor) Pittington, Martina Maloch, Alyssa Maloch, Clara Pittington, and Annabel Bohtelo; four great grandchildren Maggie, Trevor, Oliver, and Maelynn; sister Belinda Jones; nieces Samantha Moore and Rebecca Anderson; and many beloved extended family members and friends. Rickey was a strong dedicated family man, a member of the Masonic Griffin Lodge 413, and a Henry County shriner. He worked for SE Wholesale Doors for 20 years. If he wasn’t at work or with family he could be found hunting, fishing, and building. His love for those close to him was unparalleled and it was clear to everyone but himself how many hearts he touched and how many people had an abundance of love for him. He will be greatly missed. A visitation for Rickey will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Haisten Funerals & Cremations. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Locust Grove Cemetery, Highway 42 S, Locust Grove, Georgia.
