Randy Miller

Randy Lewis Miller, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was born on June 23, 1960 in Birmingham, Alabama to Russell Dewey Miller and Carolyn Lois Miller. Randy was a devoted husband celebrating 44 years of marriage with his wife, Donna and a loving father to his daughter, Sarah. The love he showed to his family will forever be remembered and cherished. He enjoyed running in marathons, bike riding with Donna and sitting on the front porch watching the birds with their dog Copper. Mr. Miller showed his love to the Lord at Luella Baptist Church where he was a deacon. To say that he loved to work with wood is an understatement; Randy loved cutting, splitting and burning all the time. When he was not at home with his family he was a dedicated oil blender at Citgo. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Donna Miller of Locust Grove, Georgia; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth (Dylan) Rutherford of Athens, Georgia; granddaughters, Ana Elyse, Harper Lee and Charlotte Louise; siblings, Russell (Patricia) D. Miller, III of Birmingham, Alabama and Kelley Ann Miller of Kennesaw, Georgia. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Georgia.
