Ralph Carlton Henderson

Mr. Ralph Carlton Henderson, age 69 of McDonough, Georgia passed away August 15, 2014. He was born in Locust Grove, Georgia to the late Everett Elra and Willie Grace Singley Henderson. He was preceded in death by siblings, Johnny Henderson, Pete Davenport and Louise Wheeler. Ralph retired after 36 years with Sweetheart Plastics. He was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church for 44 years where he served as Head Deacon, Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher and Youth Leader over the years. He enjoyed studying and teaching the Bible, woodworking and flower gardening. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mildred Henderson; daughters, Lynn (Barry) Foote of Covington, Pat (Scott) McDonald of Cottage Grove, MN, Wendy (Paul) Cooper of Covington; grandchildren, Tim Foote, Terri Williams, Michele Teal, Mitchel McDonald, Jessica Cooper, Paul Cooper, Jr.; great grandsons, Collin Williams, Austin Teal and Lucas Gawdun; siblings, Betty (Howard) Lumsden of Stockbridge, Cecil (Pat) Henderson of Jackson, Herman (Glenda) Henderson of Locust Grove, Rachel (Robert) Butler of Locust Grove, Nathan (Yvonne) Henderson of Stockbridge; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Zack Nipper will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
