I can imagine that Aunt Peg entered those pearly gates with thanksgiving and a new song in her heart. Which reminds me of that old hymnal: “I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart; I will enter His courts with praise…” She has a new body to dance while she sings songs of praise to the Lord with joy and gladness. 
She’s been reunited with her beloved family and friends. She’s probably at the table playing a hand of cards and sharing laughs with her loved ones. No more pain. No more sorrow. Only peace and an eternity with a new life and perfectly healthy body.
I was not sure if it was my place to write these words and share them until I talked to one of my sons today. It became very clear that I should do my best to articulate what my children and I are feeling as we cannot all be there in person to pay our respects. 
We all loved and respected Aunt Peg dearly. We will never forget her loving heart and soul. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with her children, grandchildren, and her sister, Aunt Jackie. We are so sorry for your loss. We love you all very much. 
One day, it will be our turn to enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise in our hearts. We will see our loved ones again. ♥️
 
May we never forget the love and laughter we shared. ♥️

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,  and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the Lord is good;  his steadfast love endures forever,  and his faithfulness to all generations.

The time has come to say our goodbyes and celebrate the life and legacy of one of the most beautiful souls that I have ever known, Peggy Banks-Bradley
Aunt Peg has made it to her heavenly home.
I first met Peg nearly 30-years ago when I was a young mother. She was my children’s paternal great-great Auntie. 
Peg was radiant with great skin and an infectious smile. She had a way of making us feel comfortable. We respected her strength and Godly wisdom. She could be brutally honest without breaking someone’s spirit. She loved her nephew and our children as if they were her own. She was a guiding light in all of our lives.
When it was time for me to go, she was supportive. She loved my kids and me unconditionally. She was fair and kind. Her words never broke a bone. She was never one to throw a stone. She spoke love and forgiveness into life. 
When she saw us, she would welcome us with open arms. She continued to treat me as part of the family long after my last name changed.
Her prayers covered the ones she loved even from a distance. When she said she was praying, you could trust and believe in her prayers.
I spent many a day at the table with my kid’s Granny (paternal Great Gran) and Aunt Peg. Lots of laughter, intelligent conversation, plenty of advice, many tears, lessons from scripture, and a ton of fun card games. Rarely; if ever, did I win a game against one of the Banks sisters. 
Aunt Peg reminded me so much of my own Mother. They would’ve been close in age. They would have had a blast together. Peg understood my grief as she had grieved her own mother. In that way, I felt a special bond. 
Peg held me when I was broken and loved me through it. Her love was without judgement and condemnation.
Social media helped us share love and stay connected. We are grateful that we were able to occasionally exchange loving and encouraging messages.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know her well, but I always enjoyed talking to her! She will be missed!

Words can’t describe how blessed I am to have known Peggy. She was like a second mom to me. She was and will always be an angel to me. My marriage to my ex was the worst to say the least. I remember so many occasions when Peggy gave up her bed to me and my kids when my ex husband was having one of his many drunken fits. Peggy would say “now Paula get out while you can.” She always had the right words to say. I know Peggy prayed hard for me. 
She welcomed me to all the family functions including Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter. She treated me and my kids like family. At Christmas, she made sure my kids had gifts to unwrap too. I am forever grateful for her. 
My fondest memory of her was quite the funny story. One night after staying at the house with my kids I woke up to Peggy’s voice. I look around the corner and she’s talking to the dogs. Now Peggy loved people but she really really loved her dogs. I walk into the kitchen and she is sharing a whole carton of Keebler Fudge striped cookies with her dogs. In 5 minutes time the whole carton was gone. She said they were her babies. Put a smile on my face. 
I love you Peggy. Your words of wisdom and your smile will always be embedded in my memories and heart. You are truly missed. Rest easy in the arms of Jesus. Until we meet again watch over me and my kids.

My Aunt Peggy was more than my Aunt she was my mama my hero to me she was Wonder Woman she basically raised me all my childhood memories are with her, she never had less than 7 or 8 kids at a time in her house that took care of,she always made sure we we're loved and new God, I'm so thankful for that,I love you Aunt Peggy ❤

Loved this girl . Can't decide if I liked her better as the red-headed Mama of 5 or the silver-haired Granny of many (not all hers). She was beautiful at every stage . My heart aches for those who loved her , including myself . She is where she LIVED to be . Safe in the arms of Jesus .
