Sgt. Patrick David "Rick" Snook, age 46 of Hampton, Georgia passed away December 27, 2020. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan and graduated from Lincoln Park High School, Class of 1993. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army and served and protected the Citizens of Henry County for 22 years with the Henry County Police Department. Rick attended Hampton First Baptist Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Rick loved his family and was a proud husband and father. He enjoyed prepping and cooking meals for his family, hunting, archery, coaching softball, playing video games and spending time at the beach with his family. He was an avid sports fan, especially his beloved Michigan Wolverines - "Go Blue!" He was very proud that he fought for our country and loved solving crime for our community.
Survivors include his wife of twelve years, Jennifer Snook; children, Jacob Snook, Emma Gable, Kate Snook and Addison Snook; mother, Sue Binder of Roscommon, MI; father in law and mother in law, Reinhart and Donna Schauer of Hampton; brothers in law and sister in law, Brad Massey of Hampton and Riney and Jen Schauer of Millbrook, AL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his brothers and sisters in Blue.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020 - 11:00 AM at Glen Haven Baptist Church. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
