Patricia Ann Thurmond, 71 of McDonough, Georgia joined our heavenly Father on December 5, 2016. Mrs. Thurmond served with the Atlanta Police Department for 18 years before she retired in 1991. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Harvey L. Thurmond, Jr.; brothers, Lee and Philip New; sons, Dean (Kirsten) and Ray (Liza) Graham; grandchildren, Bradley, Brittany, Kalyn and Kassidy; great grandchildren, Abigail, Carson and James; step children, Jimmy Thurmond, Mary Jo Brown and Lisa Thurmond. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 – 2:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
