Patricia Andrea Rogers

Patricia Andrea Rogers, age 80, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023. She was born in East Point, Georgia to the late J.W. and Margia Benefield. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Paul Rogers.

Ms. Rogers is survived by her children Debra (Gerald) Keith, Tina (Tommy) Gibbs, Steven Kite, Theresa (David) Golzari, and Kim Sumner; grandchildren Karen (Dustin) Breeden, Jeremy (Angela) Deaderick, Justin (Paige) Golzari, Sarah Golzari, Daniel Gibbs, Cole Sumner, McKenzie Sumner, Mandy Whalen, and Mindy (Zack) Percival; siblings Linda (Aldean) Valentine and Keith (Renee) Benefield; seven great grandchildren and many beloved family members.

Patricia worked at Quality Park for 17 years and then worked in the Kroger bakery for 8. She loved to garden, to read, and to rescue animals. She owned over 10 animals that she adopted over the years and adored them dearly. Over everything else she loved her family and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life for Patricia will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, Georgia 30253 with a visitation an hour prior, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Following the celebration of life will be an inurnment at College Park Cemetery, 3600 North Adams, College Park, Georgia 30337.
