Pamela Phalen Vogel

Mrs. Pam Phalen Vogel, age 71, of Locust Grove, GA passed away September 1, 2014. Pam was born in Streator, IL the daughter of the late Frank Phalen and Mary Beatrice Pauli Phalen. She was also preceded in death by daughters, Chrissy Vogel and Juleene Hrasch and a brother, Greg Phalen. Pam was a faithful member of the Locust Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known for her loving personality. Pam was an avid reader, enjoyed swimming, flea markets, sewing, crafts, crocheting, knitting and flower gardening. Survivors are her husband, Neil Vogel of Locust Grove; children, Jenna Humber (Brad) of Fayetteville, Jodie Williamson (Michael) of Spanish Fort, AL, Jamie Gallagher (John) of McDonough, and Connie Cimei (Jeff) of Magnolia, IL; grandchildren, Bradley, Travis, Patrick, Nicholas, Shawn, Brittany, Katie, Thomas and Tiffany; brother, Jerry Phalen (Dieter) San Diego, CA; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Locust Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Buckman and Rev. Dale Fuller officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
