Olive May Hamilton, age 80, of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 13, 2021. She was born at Mani's (grandmother) home in Longwood, in the parish of Clarendon in Jamaica to Ivy Beale and Eric Hamilton. Olive is survived by her beloved sister, Mable Hamilton of Kingston, Jamaica and her children, Carol "Hope" Thomas of New York, Cheryl Acosta and Tomoyea Simms both of McDonough, Georgia, Andrew "Kirk" Hanson, Gretly Hanson, and Carter "Ted" Hanson of Montego Bay, Jamaica; daughters in law, Stacy and Paula Hanson; grandchildren, Keadouy Lee, Tomoyee Wallace, Onique Hanson, Chardique Hanson, Domonique Hanson, Abigail Simms, Gabrielle Simms and Caneija Hanson; great grandchild, D'onique Hanson. A thanksgiving service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 - 11:00 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
