Mr. Meadero Love, age 96, of Ben Wheeler, TX passed away March 28, 2016. He was the son of the late Lottie Morehead Love and Oscar Love. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Lee Cox Love; children, Anthony Love, Reginald Love and Oscar Love; and several siblings, Cleo, Gutha, Opal, William and Charles Love. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, sharing stories, playing dominos and singing at his church. Survivors are his sons, Rodney Love (Cheryl) of Iowa, and Carl Love (Faye) of Texas; 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Pattie Ruth Sadler of Riverdale, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Love will be on Saturday, April 2, 2016 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Lee III officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
