Mary Kathryn McDonald

Mary Kathryn Hendrix McDonald walked through the gates of Heaven on Friday, September 17, 2021. Kathryn is survived by her husband, James (mac) McDonald , her two daughters, Jennifer Bussell (Matt) of Milner, GA, Sarah McKee (David) of McDonough, GA , her brother Richard Hendrix of Largo, FL, her sister Jacquelyn Brookfield (Richard) of Marietta, GA , her brother, Tony Hendrix (Colleen) of Thomaston, GA, Four grandchildren Peyton Bussell, Noah Keffer, Macie McKee , Kathryn Grace Bussell. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Jack Hendrix & Isla Nash Hendrix.

Kathryn was born on October 18, 1959 in Atlanta, GA to her adoring parents Jack & Isla Hendrix. She grew up in Forest Park and attended high school there.

Kathryn was a very loving, compassionate, and giving person. She was passionate about being with her family. She loved her friends and family so deeply. Kathryn had a God gifted talent for decorating and gardening. She made the world around her beautiful, almost as beautiful as she was. She loved God and all of his creation.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor and celebrate Kathryn’s life at Haisten Funeral and Cremations in the Chapel on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm with friends being received from noon until 2:00 pm
