Mrs. Marsha Diane Steadham, age 64 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away December 1, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late John Marshall Watson, Sr. and Margarette Elizabeth Harrell Watson. She was preceded in death by a brother, William “Bubba” Dainwood. Marsha was a Realtor for over 20 years and volunteered for Haven House and MADD. She enjoyed shopping, taking vacations and going to flea markets. She never met a stranger and she always thrived to help others, it was her mission in life. She especially loved Christmas and lighthouses. Survivors include her husband, Paul Steadham; daughter, Becky (Joe) McGouirk of Locust Grove; granddaughter, Lexi McGouirk; siblings, Maggie (Mike) Stalnaker of Eatonton, Jackie Watson of Ellijay, John Watson, Jr. of Jasper; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and grand nephews. Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 – 2:00 pm at Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Sunday from 11:00 – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
