Marlin Claud Freeman

Marlin Claud Freeman, age 82, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Marlin was born September 25, 1939 in Cullman, Alabama to the late Claud and Vondalee Tillman Freeman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Freeman and a sister, Nell Brand. After retiring from the grocery business, he enjoyed gardening, growing vegetables, canning and freezing vegetables, working in his yard and spending time with his family. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Ann Freeman; children, Steve (Danette) Freeman of McDonough, Glen (Darlene) Freeman of Locust Grove, John (Pam) Freeman of Buckhead, Dawn (Shane) Reese of McDonough, Tracy (Dewayne) Perry of Milner and Lisa (Patrick) Lynch of Locust Grove; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren...with one on the way; sister, Bonnie Ann (Walter) Shackelford of NC; brothers, Jerry Freeman and Curt (Judy) Freeman. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 - 2:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 12:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service.
