Marion "Chuck" Charles Price, age 83 passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
Chuck spent 43 years with Norfolk Southern Railway and was ready to defend his country through his service in the National Guard. There was nothing he was more proud of than his 51 year marriage to his beloved wife Martha, a partnership that was renewed in Heaven after an eight year pause.
Chuck is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Pam and Ricky Whitman, granddaughter Chastity Smith and great grandchildren Katie and Justin Smith. His memory also lives on through his siblings Keith Price and Elaine Price Hearn, brother-in-law Sammy (Jackie) Boney, mother-in-law Helen Branch, niece Nikki (Chad) Gorday, grand nephews Cole, Sam and Jack Gorday as well a host of other extended family and friends.
A memorial service for Chuck will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday August 6, 2022 at Union United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made in Chuck's name to Union United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 4600 Hwy 138 Stockbridge, Ga 30281.
