Margaret Castellaw

Mrs. Margaret Wynn Castellaw, age 91, of McDonough, GA passed away March 6, 2016. Mrs. Castellaw was born in Henry County the daughter of the late Catherine Stallworth Wynn and Robert Smith Wynn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson Castellaw and a sister, Ozella Allgood. Mrs. Castellaw enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, walking and being outside. She was known for her outgoing personality. She worked most of her working career for the Henry County Government and the last job was at Henry County Probate. She was a member of McDonough First Baptist Church and she grew up in the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and Ola Community. Survivors are her daughter, Jacqueline W. Castellaw of Lilburn; nephew, C. Thomas Allgood Jr. of Monroe; niece, Mary Margaret Parker of Augusta; and a great niece and several great nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM at the McDonough City Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
