Linda McLin Thompson

Mrs. Linda Gayle McLin Thompson, age 75 of Williamson, Georgia passed away May 31, 2017. She was born in Clinton, Louisiana to the late Oscar Edward and Hazel Reames McLin. She was a graduate of Northwestern College in Louisiana and worked as a Nurse for 30 years and the last 10 years of her career were spent working at Southern Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, puzzles, playing cards and Dominos and cake decorating. Survivors include children, Tracy (Steve) Croker of McDonough and David (Kendra) Thompson of Williamson; father of her children, James Thompson of Union City; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; siblings, Charles (Donna) McLin of Ponchatoula, Louisiana and Jannette (Cortez) Hutchinson of Benton, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017 – 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Community Bible Church. Rev. Steve Shivers will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough.
