Levi, hate to hear that you left us brother. I enjoyed visiting with you, doing sweats, and working with the veterans. I'll always remember Wayne English, you and I always kidding around about you two being Army and I was the dumb Marine! Ha
 I hope that heaven is wonderful for you and someday I will meet you on the other side of the river.

I did not know that Levi Walker had passed away last year. His locker was right next to mine in the Usher's locker room at the Lana Fulton County stadium.
It will be missed

I spent many summers with Chief working the Mountain Man Program at the local Boy Scout Summer Camp. I’ve got numerous arrowheads that we flint knapped together. I will always his stories.

I met Chief through our Explorer Troop 909. He was our advisor and such a great mentor to us all. Many of us became ushers and usherettes for the Atlanta Braves, and those were such fun and amazing times that I won’t ever forget. Chief taught us so much and worked tirelessly to teach us life skills and advise us in the best way he knew how. He brought each of us into his home and his life, and he was just an icon with the biggest heart.  The joy he had for life and for his heritage were beyond measure and he spread that joy everywhere he went. Thank you Chief for all the memories. I send my heartfelt condolences and love to your family. May your bright light shine down from Heaven upon all of your loved ones.

Really gonna miss you, Levi. Can’t believe your story has ended. You will be missed by so many. Still love you, my friend.

My sons with Chief Noc-A-Homa. Late 1970’s . They still talk about him all these years later❤️  The Walker family lived two doors up from my family in Forest Park.  We have memories of Chief-Noc-A-Homa that we will treasure forever.  May he rest in peace.

So glad I knew Levi on a personal level, he was a true friend to my dad.  I will always remember the excitement he gave all the little ones when he joined us at my parents home for the Bradford Thanksgiving dinner.   The kids were in disbelief and so focused on him with his rain dance-such a people pleaser and entertainer.   We will cherish the video of that day forever.  Loved by many and will surely be missed.  RIP Levi, dad will be waiting for you on the other side.

You never met me personally but you were such a part of all of our lives with your time with the Braves!  We all love you!

It was a big thrill to play "pong" on the living room floor at Levi and Mary's house in Forest Park many, many years ago. Super nice guy. The last time I saw him was 5 years ago at a powwow at Indian Springs. Rest in Peace.

We had the great pleasure to meet Chief while we were camping next to him at Stone Mountain Park. He was very gracious to talk to our large family with 7 kids. He took the time to show us how to make an arrowhead and gave it to the person who had the next birthday. I still have that arrowhead and treasure it dearly. God bless him and his survivors. He was a great memory at all  the games we attended.

For those of us who were kids in the 60'S and 70's, he will always be part of our memories of the Atlanta Braves. He made so many people laugh and smile.  1,000 upon 1,000s each night, which I'm sure equaled into the millions upon millions all said and done.  How many of us can say that? What a remarkable life!  So sorry for the family. Will keep you in our prayers.

Rest In Peace Levi.  It was a great privilege to have known you while I was an employee of the Atlanta Braves.  You were always so kind and caring to everyone you met.  There will never be anyone like you again.  Thank you for teaching me how to take care of plants.  You will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family.  As a child I loved the Chief!

Levi was a number of things to me. As Chief Noc A Homa, he was a great entertainer. When I was in Cub Scouts he took us on a little nature tour and taught us about plants and taught us a Rain Dance which made him a teacher. Later in life after high school we moved to Forest Park and Levi lived across the street so he became my neighbor. Then, I joined the Army and unfortunately I think I only saw him once while on leave the first time but then, he was my brother in arms. I’ve often thought of Levi over the years and tried to look him up in recent years. I regret that I didn’t manage to get in touch with him. He is missed and won’t be forgotten. Entertainer, Teacher, Neighbor and Brother, May you Rest In Peace, Levi. Forever in our hearts.

2016 when I first met Chief. Such an awesome soul. He was so humble and welcomed to have pictures with his fans. I love that I have a few of his arrowheads that he hand made.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  He was such a great person and my family loved him.  Prayers for your entire family.

To the Walker family....our hearts are sad and rejoiceful as our beloved Chief Knoc-A-Homa has left us for his heavenly home.  No longer is he suffering, but well and whole in the presence of our Savior.  To his family....thank you for sharing your beloved father with us for those many years.  He brought so much joy and happiness to Braves fans far and wide.  The Braves games were never the same after the Chief was gone, but his memory will live on!  Don't be sad that he is gone, but be joyful that he lived and created so many memories for his family, friends and fans.  RIP Chief....thanks for the memories.

My condolences to you and your family Gwyn your dad meant so much to me especially when I was young. Your whole family welcomed me with open arms and I know he had the final say so. Thank you Mr. Walker for helping to steer me in the right direction, May you rest in peace.
