Leanne - you left us too soon.  I am saddened when I think that all of us will not have the opportunity to see the many accomplishments you would have achieved in the final years of your distinguished career.  I had the opportunity to work with you during both of your assignments at the Washington National Records Center.  Your positive attitude and unfailing work ethic made us a better team.

I doubt that you are resting - expect that you are working on a problem in your new home.

I will always remember her laughter and bright smile.  We had lunch together the last time she was in town, when I told her that I would buy lunch she quickly said "oh you know I can't do that, I will buy" I reminded her that it was way under the $20 thrush hold...she laugh.  We had a two piece white meat chicken dinner, mash potato and a coke from Popeye's.  It was a great lunch !!!!!

I  remember the times we share together at WNRC in Suitland Md. I Thank God for the things you did for me and my family. We pray that Heaven is your home and one day Paulette and I will be able to said Thank You again for all things you did for us. RIP Leanne for now.

I worked with Leanne at the Washington National Records Center. I was extremely sadden to hear of her passing, especially at such a young age.  She was a very kind and caring person who touched and changed many lives. She will not be forgotten but always just a memory away to those who knew her and loved her and those she loved.  Leanne may you rest in the peace and love of God's arms.

I remember meeting Leanne when she, Paul, Jay and Scott began their job  rotation at the Washington National Records Center in Suitland, MD. I was secretary in the Director’s office at the time and was so amazed and delighted to meet these young, enthusiastic, intelligent people. And they were a lot of fun, too.  Leanne was the kindest, sweetest young lady and everyone loved her. She had no enemies and she treated everyone like family. She will be missed by so many. My sincere sympathy and prayers go out to her family. Rest In Peace, Leanne. 💕

Leanne was one of the kindest spirits that I have ever known. When she was my supervisor at the Records Center in Suitland, Maryland we became more than co-workers...we were friends.  Leanne and I shared many stories and laughs throughout our time there. When I left briefly to pursue a position at a private firm outside the government and after a week found that the job wasn't as I expected,  Leanne made it possible for me to immediately return. And I am forever grateful to her for that. I pray for your family. And I thank God for your friendship.  

I am so sorry to hear of Leanne’s passing.  Met her many years ago in Chicago at our house.  She was in her twenties.  I felt like I knew her for years.  My condolences and prayers go out to her and her family.

Leanne was born September 30, 1966 to Robert and Marilyn Townsend. 

Her survivors include her husband; Sisters, Lori (Richard) Erwin, Diane Haukapp, Carolyn Haukapp Mamatas; daughters, Chelsea Cerame, Taylor Cerame; Father, Robert Townsend; Dad, Russell Haukapp; 4 nieces and nephews; 3 great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
