Laura Denise Bishop

Mrs. Laura Denise Bishop, age 56, of 105 Dailey Mill Rd., McDonough, GA died Sunday afternoon, July 26, 2023, at Piedmont-Henry Hospital. Laura was born on February 25, 1967. God chose two beautiful parents for her: Mr. Albert Harold Reeves and Mrs. Carolyn Caraway Reeves, who have both preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Mark Bishop. Laura and Mark were married June 8, 1996, and have made their home in McDonough, GA. for the past 27 years. Laura is survived by her brother, Mr. Jeffey Reeves, and several aunts and uncles.

Laura’s loving heart and welcoming spirit drew many people to her that she considered family. She is survived by many close friends that call her “Sis” and by her many friends and colleagues from her 25 years of dedicated service to Agnes-Scott College that will miss her dearly.

A memorial service in Laura’s honor will be held in the sanctuary at Milner Baptist Church at 11:00 am on August 11, 2023. Dr. Brad Ellington will officiate.
