Kathryn Gorman

Mrs. Kathryn Price Gorman, age 90, of McDonough, GA passed away January 21, 2016. Mrs. Gorman was born in Locust Grove, GA the daughter of the late Orie Johnson Price and James Robert Price, Sr. and was also preceded in death by her husbands, siblings, step daughter and son-in-law. She was a graduate of Brown Business College. Mrs. Gorman was a member of Salem Baptist Church and the Carswell Club. She retired from CSX Railroad with 30 years of service. She was a founding auxiliary volunteer and Pink Lady at South Fulton Hospital. Mrs. Gorman was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed doing for her family and putting their needs first. Survivors are her children, Kathy and Dan Wilson; step children, Paul and Alice Gorman Jr. and Paula and Vernon Hitchcock; 12 grandchildren, Kathryn, Frances, James, Thomas, Terry, Lee, David, Lisa, Mike, Melanie, Gail and Wendy; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 25, 2016 – 1:00 PM prior to the service at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Dan Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
