Joseph Lee Holland

Mr. Joseph Lee Holland, age 51, of McDonough, GA passed away June 3, 2014. Mr. Holland was born in Fulton County the son of the late, Howard Lamar and Martha Mae McDevitt Holland. Mr. Holland was a truck driver for Southeastern Freight Lines. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. Mr. Holland was an avid NASCAR Fan. Survivors are his wife, Deborah Holland of McDonough; children, Martha Blythe (Thomas), Mallory Pope (Kevin), Kayla Holland all of McDonough and Amy Owens (Chad) of South Carolina; grandchildren, Ella, Emory, Heidi, Konnor, Bryson and Harper; sister, Martha Ann Redmond of Jonesboro; brothers, Terry Holland of Fayetteville and Tony Holland of Fairburn; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday, June 6, 2014 – 11:00 AM from Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville with Father Michael McWhorter as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
