Johnny Truelove

Johnny Dewell Truelove, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was born in Sylvester, Georgia to Marcus Truelove and Carrie Lee Truelove on December 18, 1962. Johnny had a love for drag racing and you could often find him fishing or shooting his guns. “Papa Johnny” as he was affectionately called by his family was the proud owner and operator of Rockwell Remodeling for 20 years. Johnny loved to cut up with jokes and aggravate you and he never me a stranger. Above all else he loved his dear wife, Denise and he loved the Lord. Johnny is survived by his beloved wife, Denise; children, Brandon Truelove of Bainbridge, Georgia, Johnathan Truelove of Bainbridge, Georgia, Shannon Blalock of Sylvester, Georgia, Jeremie Wade of Cumming, Georgia, April (Dean) Sheree Springstube of Ellijay, Georgia, James (Jenna) Stowe of Charleston, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren; sisters; Wanda (Jerry) of Tifton, Georgia and Lutrelle of Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Haisten Funeral. Burial will follow at 12pm on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Poulan Cemetery.
