Mr. John T. "Tommy" Ricks, age 73 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 18, 2020. He was born in McDonough, Georgia to the late Ernest Franklin and Dorothy Ruth Carter Ricks. Tommy was preceded in death by his sister, Pat Darnell and a niece, Pam Skelton. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Tommy retired from the Henry County Water Authority and enjoyed fishing, working in his garden and being with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Wanda Nail Ricks; son and his girlfriend, Mark Ricks and Katlyne Simmons; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kendall, Kelby, Hunter, Amelia and Nash; his best buddy, Cooper the dog. No services are planned.
