Mr. Jimmie Lee Fowler, SR., age 82, of McDonough, GA passed away October 24, 2017. Mr. Fowler was born in Resaca, GA the son of the late Robbie Lou Wilbanks Fowler and Joseph Clarence Fowler. He was also preceded in death by a brother , Gerald “G.Z.” Fowler and a grandson, Mike Tondre. Mr. Fowler enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his tractor, antique cars, and gardening. Mr. Fowler was known for his craftsmanship in wood work. Survivors are his children, Jimmie Fowler Jr. (Margaret) of Jonesboro, Greg Fowler (Gina) of South Haven, MS, Darryl Fowler of McDonough, Randall Fowler (Alyssa) of Milner, and Teena Fowler Arias of Smyrna; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Fowler (Pat) of Resaca, and Larry Fowler (Glenda) of Adairsville; sister, Bobbye Harris of Calhoun, GA; sister-in-law, Trish Fowler of Canton; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 6 – 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Fain Cemetery, 104 Anabel Lane, Calhoun, GA 30701 with Frankie Brown officiating.
