Jean Ellen Cherry Freeman, age 85 of McDonough, GA., was born October 7, 1937 in Dothan, AL., to Lloyd and Virginia Cherry. She graduated from Dothan High School and attended Samford University in Birmingham AL. In 1966 she married Lamar Freeman and they had four children, Cheryl (Louis) Winters, Jimmy (Helen) Freeman, Keith (Julie) Freeman, and Kenny (Tania) Freeman. She also has seven grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents and her husband. She is survived in addition to her children and grandchildren by numerous cousins. Funeral services will be January 31, 2023 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Hampton, GA. With interment to follow at Forest lawn Cemetery in College Park, GA.
