Janet Sue Barber

Janet Sue Barber, age 82, of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Janet was born Tuesday, January 18, 1938 in College Park, Georgia to the late Hubert and Willie Grace Norred. She was employed by Fulton County Board of Education for 28 years. Janet loved her family, cooking, sewing and oil painting. She had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Mrs. Barber is survived by her husband of 63 years, Virgil Barber, children, Gina (Kenneth) Foster of McDonough, Terri (Larry) Kessinger of Newnan, Phillip Barber of Stockbridge and Kelli Logalbo of Senoia. Janet also has fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Dave Riley will officiate Mrs. Barber's funeral service also on Saturday at 11:00 AM in our chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
