James Henry McDonald

Mr. James Henry McDonald, age 76 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away May 31, 2015. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James Fredrick and Mamie Ruth Norris McDonald. He served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after over 20 years with the City of Atlanta Fire Department. He enjoyed building and tinkering, motorcycles and animals. Survivors include his children, Darlene (Jack) McCallister of Douglasville, Wanda (Jimmy) Collins of Jackson, Barry McDonald of Jackson, Marsha (Neal) Britt of Madison; grandchildren, Tony (Mandy) McCallister, Desirae McCallister, Teri (Adam) Currul, Macie, Mallery and Graysen Britt; great grandchildren, Bryston McCallister, Austin Rue, Kaylee and Hayden Currul; sister, Vivian (Carl) Shelfer of Meansville; nieces, Dawn Martinez and Barbie Jesse. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
