Hazel Upshaw Bell

Hazel Ann Upshaw Bell, age 82 passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024 in Jonesboro, GA. She was born in Cadwell, GA to the late Woodrow and Irene Upshaw. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John Bell Sr. and her son William "Tommy" Bell.

She is survived by three children John Bell Jr., Teresa Skinner, and Gordon (Tammy) Bell; her grandchildren Ashley (Johnathan) Johnson, Jesse (Jordan) Bell, Abigayle Bell, Aaron Bell, and Ciera (Hunter) Bell; great grandchildren Maddy, Brayden, Clayton, Haizlee, Samuel, and Grayson; and many beloved family members.

Hazel was family oriented. She loved her grandchildren and her cat. In her younger years she would fill her time with darts, badmitten, and other outdoor activity. She had loved visiting the mountains and going camping. She was a big baseball fan and loved to cheer on the Atlanta Braves. In her latter years she focused on her family and loving them dearly. She will be greatly missed.

The family will visit with friends one Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway S. McDonough, GA 30253.
