Harold Emory Lee Jr.

Harold Emory Lee, Jr., age 77, of McDonough, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2023. Harold was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Harold Emory Lee, Sr. and Doris McCollough Lee. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra Young Lee, son, Kevin Lee (Beth); son Patrick Lee (Melinda); grandchildren, Megan Lee, Ariana Lee, and Devin Lee; his sister, Delores Sumner, and niece Denise Sumner-Thomason.

Harold was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Aside from his family, Harold’s greatest devotion was to his country. He served honorably in the Airforce from 1964 through 1968.

Harold had a successful 33-year career with Delta Airlines where he worked until his retirement in 2001. After his retirement he continued to work in the airline industry with AAR Corporation. He was a longtime member of the Jaycees and served as a little league coach for many years. He loved the beach and spending time with family and friends at his condo in Panama City Beach, FL.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2pm. Visitation with family and friends will be at 1pm. Donations in Harold’s memory may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
