George Armer Kelly Jr.

Mr. George Armer Kelly, Jr. age 75 of McDonough, Georgia passed away May 19, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late George Armer Kelly, Sr. and Mabel Ruth Glazier Kelly. He was preceded in death by a son, David Kelly and a brother, Ralph Kelly. He was a graduate of North Clayton High School and attended Mercer University. He retired from Old Dominion Freight Lines after 30 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and playing guitars. Survivors include his wife, Kay Kelly; daughter, Kim (Steve) Lamb of Newnan; grandchildren, Erin and Andrew Lamb; sister, Becky (Wayne) Allgood of McDonough; brother, Ronnie Kelly of Centre, Alabama; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Southern Grace Hospice in memory of George Kelly.
