Gary (and Barbara....can't separate these two), I am so sorry that we have lost Gary.  You both have been a big part of my motorcycle life the past several years and I couldn't have asked for better friends that also  happened to have the health of my bike in their best interest!  You both are unique and probably  will never  be duplicated in this day and age!  Thank you for being there for me when I needed you, and call if you need us.

I  first met Gary and Barb in summer 2008 when I got my first Wing and it was having issues The tech at the Honda Shop said"Call Gary'". They are the most honest and kind hearted folks I have met in motorcycle service. Every time I would call or visit it was warm and welcoming and well received.
  Would sit and just chat with them, about life. My Prayers are for Ms.Barb. O My heart hurts

Sending my love and condolences to you and family.   You & Gary were such wonderful Friends & such a fantastic support to me when I first bought my Trike & throughout the years.  I'll never forget that New Year's Day ride when my trike wouldn't start & I missed the ride, then there the 2 of you were at my front door to help me.  We were able to meet Chapter A for lunch.  That meant the world to me & that was just one time - there were many more!

Thank you for all you did.  Gary will be very missed.   My heart goes out to you in your Loss.

I just had Gary do some work on my  Wing a few weeks ago. What a shock to know he's passed. He always did work with integrity and honesty. I always knew and trusted that the work would be done right. The times just hanging out in the shop shooting the breeze with Gary and Barb made it feel like a family affair. I wish I had known him more years. My heart goes out to you Barb. You two spent 24 hours a day together every day. I don't know that many teams that can handle that the way you two did so well. Please reach out if there's anything I can do to help

Although it has been too many years since I last saw or talked to you, Gary, Chris or their mom,  I've thought about you all so many times.  I am heartsick to hear of Gary's passing and want you to know I'm thinking of you and praying for you all.

I cannot think of my life growing up without thinking of Gary and his antics with me, Walt, Chris,  and Jeff.

Gary could always make me laugh and feel better, no matter what was happening!  I loved him very much.  

I thought you guys made a perfect couple and enjoyed our time when you lived here in Texas and later when you were driving truck.  I'm happy to hear you have been married for so long.  I knew you would be one of the couples to make it!  
It's clear to see how much Gary adored you and I know your loss is devastating.  I will pray for you Barb.

I am simply at a loss for words upon learning of Gary’s passing. It has been a couple of years since I last saw Gary.

Gary was one of the most genuine people I have ever met, and he was simply the best at his work. I never second  guessed any of the work that he completed on my bike, and he always explained things and made sure my bike was ride safe and in tip-top shape.

I have more respect and admiration for Gary than I can put into words. The Goldwing / GWRRA community has lost an Icon and a Legend.

When Chuck passed four years ago, Gary and Barbara were there with me and I’ll never forget their love and support.   Chuck wouldn’t let anyone but Gary work on our bikes and he was the best there was.   We loved going to their shop and just visiting while Chuck would find a new piece of something he just had to have.    My heart breaks for you Barbara and I’m sorry I can’t be there in person.   I’m living in Massachusetts near my two daughters and  our six grandchildren.  You have the love and support of all us ‘bikers’ and a special place in my heart for you.   Love, Ann

Shocked beyond belief to hear about our loss.  I called Gary that morning around 9:05 and left him a message, to please  to call me.  Barbara called me around 9:30 with the sad news.   I met Gary in 1995.  He was the only person to every work on 5 of my Gold Wings.  Gary had just recently installed several accessories on my 2018 Gold Wing.   My 2018 was the first one he had worked on.  Gary was the most honest and helpful person I've ever done business with.  He was very dedicated and proud of his work, and took lots of pride in it.  If, he didn't agree with what you wanted done, he was up front about his reasons.  You always knew where he was coming from.    Barbara was his right hand on many jobs, and she always went the extra mile to help me with appointments by providing needed parts.  Barbara played a big part in Gary's success.  I don't think he could have done it without her.  I fill very honored and blessed to have met them.  He will definitely be missed.  My prayers are with You Barbara,  that God will get you the strength to get through all the issues you're faced with.  

I remember Gary from school and he and his family lived across the All Souls Cemetery from my family. We used to always make sure we crossed over the cemetery before it got dark! We rode horses together and had all kinds of fun. He was a great guy and he will be missed! RIP Gary.

I met Gary while he was a driver at Plymart. We had a Harley at the time. Every time that I would see him he would tell me to get a Goldwing and I would save my sanity. How right he was. Gary was the only one that ever worked on the four Goldwings that we owned and we trusted him immensely. He was very dedicated to his work and we would give his name to anyone regardless of the make of bike they owned. What a great soul he had and although we lived close to each other, we didn’t share near enough time together. From Rick, Faye and Katie.

What a shock. Just a few weeks ago I was at the shop having one of our many talks. 
Words cannot express how we feel. 
Gary was the only person I let work on my bike and I sought his advice before I did anything to it. 
Gary’s service was without question the best ever, I have called him from Arizona, Canada and other places with problems and he was always ready to help. Once he even overnighted me parts. 
Undoubtedly the most honest and helpful business man I’ve ever met, he will definitely be missed by gold wingers friends and family

Walt and I are simply devastated to learn of Gary’s passing. He always joked about Walt and him being related! There are no words, Barbara... Please know you are in our hearts.

Barb and all of the Thayer family are in our hearts and thought. We are so sorry for the loss of Gary.  Gary and Barb meant so much to the motorcycle community... so much more than the shop; their friendship is what we treasured. Sam talks about fun of working with Gary at Plymart, before he made the leap to doing bikes full time. I loved my talks with him and going over just to chat while he worked. When he built my 1800 trike, as Gary said you couldn’t knock the smile off my face with a two x four.  Barb, I know your heart is breaking now. Please take at least a little comfort in knowing how much you are both loved.
