Garrett Big G Andre Rodriguez

Garrett Andre Rodriguez, age 31, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on November 10, 2016. He was born in Decatur, Georgia. Garrett was an avid University of Tennessee fan. During his career he worked as a manager at G & S Marble. One of Garrett’s aspirations was to become a tattoo artist and open his own business. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing in his free time. He had a personality that you were drawn to and he cared greatly for his family and friends. He was known by many of his friends as “Big G”. Garrett’s contagious laughter and giving heart will be missed most by his family. Garrett leaves behind his mom, Susan Garrett; father, Andre Rodriguez and his fiancé, Susan; paternal grandmother, Renate Rodriguez; maternal grandmother, Winnifred Garrett; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His grandparents, Jack Upshaw Garrett and Amalio Rodriguez, preceded him in death. Family and friends will gather for a service to celebrate Garrett’s life on Saturday, November 19, 2016 beginning at 3:30 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 to 3:30 PM prior to the service. A reception will follow the service.
