Frank Arthur Stone III

Mr. Stone is survived by his wife Linda Stone; children Frank (Amanda) Stone IV, David Stone, Peter (Kelly) Ciccone, Michael (Sarah) Ciccone, Robert (Abbe) Ciccone; grandchildren Mairin Stone, Samantha Stone, Pierce Ciccone, Cade Ciccone, Chase Ciccone, Ashton Ciccone, and Avery Ciccone; as well as several siblings, nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.

Frank graduated from Georgia State and Villanova University. He joined the United States Army and became a Vietnam combat veteran. He was a previous Post Commander of the American Legion, Post #258 and a chairman of GUCC. He worked for Bellsouth for over 30 years and was a member of the Bellsouth Pioneers. He was a Legion Rider who enjoyed riding his Fat Boy with his fellow riders. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, volunteer, soldier and a service man. Frank spent his whole life being there for others. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. His excitement and energy was palpable and contagious. He will be missed by many.

A visitation for Frank will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, Georgia 30253. A celebration of life will be the following day Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Haisten chapel.
