Frances Elizabeth Hadaway Thomaston, known fondly as Beth, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025. Beth was born on October 1, 1933 to William Benjamin Hadaway and Emily Ruth Hadaway. She was a devoted wife to Troy for 64 years and a loving mother to her daughter, Hannah. The highlight of her life was becoming “Me-Maw” to her beloved grandchildren. Beth retired from JCPenney after ten years of service in the catalog department. She is survived by her husband, Whit Troy Thomaston, daughter and son-in-law, Hannah and Mark Brown. Adored grandson, Caleb Brown, adored granddaughter and birthday twin, Callie Brown. One brother, Billy (Rita) Hadaway, one sister-in-law, Lucille Hadaway, and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Ms. Frances will be on Monday, April 7th, 2025 at Henry Baptist Church, 4035 Jodeco Rd, McDonough, GA 30253. The celebration of life will take place at 2:00 PM with an hour prior visitation for the family to greet friends.
