Floyd G Daniel

Mr. Floyd G. Daniel of McDonough, GA passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018 at the age of 62. Floyd was born in Atlanta, GA on December 28, 1955 to the late Bobby and Patricia Daniel. Floyd is also preceded in death by his twin brother Lloyd.

Floyd’s early love of trains grew into a 29 year career as an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. In addition to trains, Floyd loved all things sports. Motorcycles and Rock music always had a place in Floyd’s heart as well. He was a member of McDonough Christian Church.

Floyd is survived by his daughters; Becky (Casey) Daniel and Tate (Jonathan) Daniel, his Brother Bobby (Shannon) Daniel, nieces; Ashley (Josh) Moss and Brooke Daniel and a great nephew Gunner Moss.

The family will receive friends and guests on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Haisten Funeral home in McDonough, GA. Funeral service will be held on Thursday April 12, 2018 at 12pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral home with Pastor Paul Leslie officiating. Internment immediately following at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Floyds family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in his name to Sacred Journey hospice in McDonough (https://www.sacredjourneyhospice.com/ ) and Autumn Village Assisted Living 2 (http://www.autumnvillage.us/autumn-village-2.html )
