Mrs. Eula G. Upchurch Woodward, age 99, of Griffin, GA passed away January 29, 2016. Mrs. Woodward was born in McDonough, GA the daughter of the late Sallie Ann Smith Upchurch and James Ewell Upchurch. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Ralph Woodward; a son, Carlton Norris; sisters, Jessie Lee Austin and Flora Price; and a brother, James Upchurch. Mrs. Woodward enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, shopping, playing the piano and being active in her church at Teamon Road Baptist Church. Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Kaye and Mike Sisk of Locust Grove and Deborah and Dan Fleury of Stockbridge; 6 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Woodward will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Griffin Memorial Gardens.
