Elizabeth Gardner

On August 12, 2023 Mrs. Elizabeth H. Gardner left her beloved family to go sing with the Angels in Heaven. She had the most beautiful voice and spirit to match. Those who were blessed to be close to her in life are forever bettered by living in the light of her grace, hope and loving kindness. Mrs. Gardner is survived by her husband and “Angel” Charles C. Gardner. They were blessed with 31 years of marriage. She is also survived by her daughter Ms. Melanie Elizabeth Harrison, her son-in-law Mr. Eric Bestrom, and her granddaughter Anneli Elizabeth Bestrom of Minnesota. Her stepson Mr. Charles Gardner, his wife Shannon Gardner and their son Zach. Mr. and Mrs. Randy and Paget Harrison and their son William Harrison of Mississippi and a brother Mr. Kerry Hunsicker of South Carolina. Mrs. Gardner is preceded in death by her mother and father Mr. and Mrs. Ralph and Ethel Hunsicker and by her most beloved grandmother Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Stine of Virginia. Mrs. Gardner was a dedicated, professional employee at Coca-Cola USA where she proudly worked for over 15 years until her illness. She was a very creative person and loved to sing, photograph family, write poetry, design holiday cards, and make scrapbook masterpieces. Her daughter Melanie thinks her most important accomplishments were being a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was grateful and understood what a gift it is to live a life filled with and surrounded by love. Services will be held at a later date.
