Earl D. Myers

Earl D. Myers, 94 of McDonough, GA passed away on September 24, 2023. He was born in Birmingham, AL on January 9, 1929 to the late Earl and Virgie Myers. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Annette and his daughter Rita Griffin Todd. Earl was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He served as the State President of Georgia Power Ambassadors Retirees. He was a deacon of Bethany Baptist Church, McDonough GA and a member of his beloved Seekers Sunday School Class. Mr. Myers is survived by his daughter, Connie (Conner) Davis of Suwanee, his son Dwight (Carole) Myers of McDonough, five grandchildren Matthew (Jessica) Griffin, Stephen Davis, Michael (Erin) Davis, Anna (Jordy) Roberts and Christian (Katie) Myers, three great grandsons, Owen and Wesley Griffin and Austin Davis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough, GA. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 - 2:00pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Those desiring may send contributions to the building fund at Bethany Baptist Church.
