Dwain Spivey

Mr. Berkley "Dwain" Spivey, 89 of McDonough, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019, loving husband of 63 years to the late Lorene Norris Spivey. Mr. Spivey was born in Tabor City, NC to the late Foster and Flossie Ann Spivey. He was a devout Christian and was a member of First Baptist of North Myrtle Beach Church. Dwain was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Spivey is survived by his children: Norris (Dean) Howell of Locust Grove and Al (Dee) Spivey of Mississippi; grandchildren: Charles (Casey) Byrd, Steve Spivey, and Elizabeth Spivey; great grandchildren: Ethan, Johanna, Noah, and Benjamin; sister: Fostine Swain; niece: Ann Harper; and a host of family and friends. A celebration of life will be held in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home at 2:00PM on Friday, October 4, 2019 with Dwain's grandson, Pastor Charles Byrd officiating.
