Mr. Douglas Ray Taylor, Jr., age 63 of Jackson, Georgia passed away January 22, 2021. He was born in Mobile, Alabama to Christina Brewer Taylor and the late Douglas Ray Taylor, Sr. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and Stanley Taylor. Ray faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Rock Springs Church and enjoyed hot rods and reading. Survivors include his mother, Christina Taylor of Jackson; children, Shannon Taylor of Forest Park, Bridgette (Jeremy) Fowler of Mineral Bluff, Douglas Ray (Allison) Taylor, III of Marietta and Elizabeth Taylor of Marietta; grandchildren, Caden Taylor, Rosie McKenzie, Bonnie Fowler and Roman Taylor; brother, David Taylor of Monroe; girlfriend, Wanda Beck of Toccoa. A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 - 2:00 PM at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
