Donna Charlene Bates, age 70, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 24, 1951 to the late Marvin and Dorothy Shaw. Donna is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary Bates, children; Alan Wayne (Dena) Bates of Covington, GA and Patricia (Chris) Stell of McDonough, GA, grandchildren; Ashlee (Mason) Bennett, Collin Bates, Gavin Stell, Kyle Bates and Brayden Stell, great grandchildren; Bentley and Jaxon Bennett. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM - 4:00PM on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 10, 2022 in our chapel. Burial will follow in Morrow City Cemetery.
