Diane Romano Bobko (72) passed away on December 2, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Miami, FL on December 11, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents Lou and Ruby Romano and her stepson George Max Bobko, Jr. She is survived by her husband George Max Bobko and her five children: daughter Candace (Jaime) Austrich of Tampa, FL; daughter Tracy (Anthony) Blackburn of McDonough, GA; daughter Brandi (Zachary) McIntosh of Tallahassee, FL; son Chad Griggs of Greeneville, SC; and son Brad (Josie) Griggs of Marrianna, FL. She had nine grandchildren: Madison, Bentley, Jackson, Morgan, Payton, Alexandria, Noah, Remington, and Nori. She also had one great-grandchild Adalynn. She is survived additionally by siblings Constance (Ronald) Maier of Miami, FL, and Sandra (Michael) Yearty of Linville, NC.
Diane Romano Bobko, a longtime resident of Panama City Beach, FL, recently relocated to Jackson, GA. Throughout her life she had a love for horses, the beach, bowling, and traveling. Diane had a tender heart for her pets, and absolutely cherished her newest puppy Pepper. She was most proud of her five children and her grandchildren. She married Max in 2011 and they spent many happy years fulfilling her love of travel and family. Together they traveled around the US in their RV, and cruising on the world's oceans, making memories that will be cherished always.
Her life will be honored at a future date in Miami, FL, where she will be laid to rest near her beloved parents.
