Debra Hooper Hayes

Debra Hooper Hayes, age 68, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. She was born March 28, 1955 in College Park, Georgia to the late Herbert and Margaret Hooper. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Marty Hayes and brother Bill Hooper.

Ms. Hayes is survived by her children Rebecca (Joshua) Durrance and Jeremy (Christy) Hayes; brother Steve (Karen) Hooper; grandchildren Chloe, Mathew, and Zachary Durrance; as well as many nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.

Debra was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and had a giving heart that loved to help other people. She really enjoyed working with children and adored her grandkids. She volunteered for the Good News Club and extended her kindness to many. Debra will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Debra will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, Georgia 30253. A graveside will be the following day Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 722 Conley Rd, Forest Park, Georgia 30297.
