Dawn Bodiford

Mrs. Beverly Dawn Bodiford, age 81 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 18, 2019. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James Wesley Jackson, Sr. and Rudeen Mulkey Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bodiford and by siblings, Lavelle "Sonny" Jackson, James "Jimmy" Jackson, Jr. and Katherine Denise Jackson. She was a member of the Griffin First Assembly of God. Dawn was a loving Mama and Nana that will be greatly missed by her family. She was a hair dresser and enjoyed fishing, camping and bird watching. Survivors include her children, Beverly Jean McCarley and her husband, Randy Rainwater of McDonough; William Bryant McCarley, Jr. of Covington and Donna Gay Padgett and her husband, Tony of Jackson; granddaughters, Amy Janelle McCarley of Houston, TX, Nichole Jean Bartlett and her husband Michael of Flovilla and Amanda Ryan McCarley of Athens; great grandchildren, Mckenzie Nichole Bartlett and Dylan Anthony Bartlett. A visitation with the family will be on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Keith Joseph will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
